    With Google Messages, you can now say goodbye to the asterisk and edit messages even after they’ve been sent. Simply tap and hold a sent RCS message to correct typos, add missing words, or clarify your meaning—up to 15 minutes after sending.

  2. Effortless Hotspot Sharing and Seamless Device Switching for Video Calls

    Soon, with Instant Hotspot, you can connect your Android tablet or Chromebook to your phone’s hotspot with just a tap—no password entry required. Additionally, if you need to switch devices during a Google Meet call, you can tap the Cast icon to seamlessly transition between your connected devices, allowing you to move between your Android phone, tablet, or web browser.

  3. Enjoy the Festival Season with New Emoji Kitchen Combinations

    New Emoji Kitchen sticker combinations will be available soon. Get ready for the festival season by creating new combinations of your favorite emojis, such as the disco ball and headphones , and share them as stickers with your friends via Gboard.

  4. Control Google Smart-Home Devices from Your Home Screen

    You can now add the Google Home Favorites widget to your phone’s home screen to manage and control your most-used smart-home devices. This allows you to check the room temperature at a glance or turn off the lights with a single tap. This widget is available to everyone who opts into the public preview.

  5. Manage Your Preferred Smart-Home Devices via Your Wear OS Smartwatch

    Customize your Wear OS smartwatch with the Google Home Favorites tile and complication (an additional function or shortcut on a watch face) to quickly view and control your smart-home devices—all in one place. Unlock doors, dim the lights, or change the temperature before you get home, all with just a tap on your wrist.

  6. More Ways to Pay with Google Wallet on Your Wear OS Smartwatch

    There are now more ways to pay from your wrist. If you live in the USA or Germany, you can now make secure payments with PayPal through Google Wallet from your Wear OS smartwatch. Pay for your coffee and other everyday items without taking your phone out of your pocket.

  7. Unlock Convenience with the Digital Car Key—Coming Soon to More Vehicles

    The digital car key is now available for select MINI models and will soon be expanded to selected Mercedes-Benz and Polestar vehicles. You can lock, unlock, and start your car using just your phone, or securely share your digital car key with family and friends.
