Donald Trump Urges American To Stay "United" But Doesn't Mention Impeachment

New Delhi: US President Donald Trump pleaded Americans to be "united" and end  violence, he said this after being impeached on this Wednesday, he avoided any mention of impeachment in the clip.

In the speech, Trump said he was "calling on all Americans to overcome the passions of the moment and join together as one American people. Let us choose to move forward united for the good of our families and culture.

Trump is facing his second impeachment in the House of Representatives, Trump said "There is never a justification for violence. No excuses, no exceptions: America is a nation of laws."

"Those who engaged in the attacks last week will be brought to justice," he said.

Donald Trump became the first US president in history to be impeached twice when the House of Representatives voted Wednesday to charge him over “incitement of insurrection.”

"Donald Trump has deservedly become the first president in American history to bear the stain of impeachment twice over," said Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer.

The US House impeached Trump last year for his phone call to Ukraine's president encouraging him throw dirt up on opposite candidate Biden.
