A Warrant Is Been Issued For Arvind Kejriwal Against Defamation Case

Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, in Assam he faced a search warrant for as he did not appeared in court yesterday. Due to the Defamation case over his tweet on PM Narendra Modi’s degree last year.

This warrant was issued when Mr. Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party are drown in their campaign for 23rd April’s Municipal Corporation of Delhi or MCD polls. The warrant is bailable.

Mr. Kejriwal requested to the Diphu to substitute him and give him some more time to appear, as he referred to the Civic polls. ‘He cannot leave Delhi to attend the court hearing because of the civic election and the nature of his work because he is the Chief Minister of Delhi’ said by Mr. Kejriwal’s Lawyer.

The request is been rejected by the Judge, stating that Arvind Kejriwal had failed to appear once before on 30th January and Rs. 10,000 as a warrant is been issued.

The Defamation case is been filed by Surya Rongphar Assam BJP leader after Arvind Kejriwal alleged in a tweet in December. In which he stated that ‘The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has studied till class 12th only and his college degree is fake.’ For which Mr. Rongphar said that it is ‘Baseless and Misleading.’

On 8th May the court will take up the case.

The party and Arvind Kejriwal has repeatedly questioned the immensity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s degree of DU. Last year DU’s registrar said that PM Narendra Modi’s degree is authentic and he cleared the exams on 1978 and he got his degree in 1979.
