New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding a roundtable with at least 20 executives of US-based companies in Washington. The Prime Minister, who is on a two-day visit to the US capital, will later meet with the members of the Indian community in neighbouring Virginia. A series of bilaterals with US president Donald Trump and his team are scheduled for tomorrow, in which the two nations will seek to fortify and give direction the ties, which has been drifting due to several economic and immigration agendas of the Republican government. President Trump has called PM Modi a "true friend" with whom he had "important strategic issues to discuss".
