The Sillicon Valley started by an Indian-origin CEO whi is accused for domestic abuse by his wife, may end up serving in jail for less than a month as he was offered a plea deal before, as per the US Media report. Working for an Apple Company Neha Rastogi, 36 said that her husband of 10 years, Abhishek Gattani, abused her during their 10-year marriage. In May last year, she allegedly recorded an incident of assault on her iPhone. "You begin to hear the repeated thwacks in the presence of their then 2-year-old daughter," stated to The Daily Beast.
Abhishek Gattani 38, appealed ‘No Contest’ to bashing his wife and was offered a plea deal in California court last week, which will allow him to serve in jail for less than a month, reported by The Daily Beast.
Abhishek Gattani pleaded when his wife went to police for complaint. The charges were reduced from criminal offense assault to criminal offense accessory reporter stated. Steve Fein Prosecutor Assistant District Attorney explained the plea deal as a fair conclusion noting that accessory after the fact is also a criminal offense, though not a harsh one that would place Abhishek Gattani at risk of being deported to India.
