The First Victory is been described as ‘Dharam Yudh’ by O Panneerselvam. VK Sasikala and TTV Dinakaran will be kept out from Tamil Nadu’s ruling party AIADMK as it is the decision. By several senior Ministers the decision is taken last night, as to clear the two rival factions of the party to begin tie-up talks.
Former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam’s next step will be a meeting with Sasikala’s faction which broke against her. A few months back Sasikala appointed AIADMK chief, as she is currently serving in a Bengaluru prison for Corruption, Sasikala nephew and Deputy Mr. Dinakaran today said that he have no regrets for being sidelined by his colleagues.
The meeting was called off by Mr. Dinakaran of party Legislators today and said, that he has stepped aside in the interest of the party government. He even welcomes the merger of the two rival factions.
Who will be the Chief Minister, O Panneerselvam or OPS’s camp is now cleared that he should return to the post as he was forced to quit by Sasikala earlier this year as she planned to take over the position of Chief Minister. The plan of VK Sasikala was halted by the Supreme Court as she was handed for a prison term and before she left Chennai. E Palaniswamy was the proxy of Sasikala to become the Chief Minister. Mr. Danikaran was also appointed as deputy Chief of the AIADMK by Sasikala.
Mr. Palaniswamy had many support as it was proved by AIADMK legislators that Mr. Pannerselvam did as to take over as Chief Minister in February. He should retained in the posts as his supporters want him.
Mr. Pannerselvam should be both Chief Minister and Chief of a Re-united AIADMK as OPS camp wants. They even want post of AIADMK presidium Chairperson to return to veteran E Madhusudanan. As he was fired by Sasikala earlier this year.
Late Jayalalithaa’s closest companion was Sasikala for last 30 years and after her death appropriated control of the party. Jayalalithaa expelled the family members and Mr. Dinakaran as Sasikala tried to get them into the party year ago. Mr. Pannerselvam called ‘betrayal of Amma,’ who addressed to the Election Commission against Sasikala’s appointment as a general secretary of the party.
