Today, Narendra Modi Prime Minister urged the Bureaucrats to change their mind set and the way of working. Narendra Modi said, "With changing times, a need may arise that we may have to change our working style. From regulator, we need to be an enabling entity," while addressing top officials of the country in Delhi.
This the time for the confident and out of the box decision Narendra Modi added. On Mark Civil Services Day Prime Minister was speaking, PM said that all the officials should use the chance to introspect.
Narendra Modi said in the function, "Earlier, the role of the government, from healthcare to wanting to set up an industry, was very strong. Things have been changing for the past 15 years."
When speaking against the Red-Tape strongly for which PM asked, "Why were things paralysed for 20-25 years? Why were two ministries fighting in court? We must ask ourselves...was it a case of ego?"
In National Interest the officials should take the decisions said by Prime Minister, "Don't make decisions which are temporary or offer a temporary fix for your particular area...It is important to make ourselves relevant in changing times or else, we will become obsolete." Narendra Modi further added.
