"Hello, I am an ISI agent. But now I don't wish to continue any further and want to remain in India," said a passenger at Indira Gandhi international airport in delhi after he got off an Air India flight from Dubai.
Muhammad Ahmad Sheikh Muhammad Rafiq, who is a Pakistani passport holder, after the flight approached for a help desk in the airport and confessed to an official at the counter that he wanted to share some information about Pakistan's intelligence agency, Inter-Service Intelligence or ISI.
The attendant at the help desk was shocked by his statement, the official immediately informed security officials who detained him and questioned the Pakistani man quickly and informed the central intelligence agencies.
Today, the 38-year-old Rafiq had arrived in Delhi by Air India's flight from Dubai and was further booked for Kathmandu. However, he did not took the next flight and decided to confess and therefore walked up to the help-desk counter at the airport.
During questioning, Rafiq said he was connected with the ISI but now had decided to leave and remain in India, officials said.
Now he is at some unclosed place and is being questioned about any mis happening or further details.
