India’s Single Volcano Active Again

India single live volcano in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands has initiated belch smoke and lava again.

Afterwards lying dormant for 150 years, Barren Islands Volcano explode in 1991 and has been displaying sporadic activity afterall, reaserchers of Goabased National Institute of Oceanography said.

"The volcano is erupting in small episodes of five of five to 10 minutes", Abhay Mudholkar, who is managed an NIO group which is assamble samples in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, said on Friday.

" During the day, only ash clouds were observed. But after sun down, red lava foundation were spewing from the crater into the atmosphere and hot streamed down the slokes", he said.

The site was after frequent by B Nagendra Nath and his group and they too observed addition of spurts of blasts and smoke.

Scientists from council of Scientific and Industrial Research and NIO have examined sediments and water in the vicinity and renewed coal - life black pyroclastic material defining proximal volcanic ordure.

"We are checking the composition of the lava and powdering the black to figure out the components", Mudholkar said.

"These volcanoes are formed due to the rising Magma formed deep in the mantle due to the melting of the subducted Indian Ocean Crust", said Nath.

The volcanic island is abandoned and it's Arctic part in, while the name advised barron and empty of vegetation. Indian persons can stay the Island by commission boats after acquiring permission from the forest administration in Port Blair.
