In India Nokia 3310 Launched At Rs 3,310, Via Offline Stores Goes On Sale On 18th May

Nokia 3310 after months of wait has finally been launched in the Indian market, announcing by the HMD Global that the feature phone will be available at a price of Rs 3,310. Only in offline stores the modern iteration of the iconic handset will be available only, and the purchase will be available starting from Thursday, 18th May. The buyers will be getting their hands on Nokia 2210 in India in four colour options which are warm Red and Yellow and Dark Blue and Grey (both with a matte finish).

 

 

 

With the feature phone of Nokia 3310, HMD Global aims to cater to those who want a simple handset as their primary handset, even for those who want a secondary phone. With the Nokia 3310 phone there is also a lot of nostalgia associated, which holds a venerated position in the hearts of people across the country. The modern Nokia 3310 version promises the same long battery life as well as the classic Snake game, and throws 2G Internet access to the mix.

 

 

 

By NDTV  Gadgets 360 as reported earlier that the, Nokia 3310 is being unveiled in India ahead of the Nokia Android phones. At the company’s MWC 2017 global launch event the new Nokia 3310 stole the limelight and received an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response at the event. It sports a refreshed design, keeping the rounded edges and sturdy build iconic to the original 3310. The new curved screen window is designed for better "readability in sunlight." The phone also sports new push buttons and a new UI with similarities to the original.

 

 

 

Like the original sibling is much like the new Nokia 3310, which features a massive standby time of up to a month, a highlight of the device. It includes the regular Micro-USB port and ditches the pin charger. With Nokia’s SLAM technology it features Bluetooth.

Sports a 2.4-inch QVGA (240x320 pixels) colour display the Nokia 3310, compared to the 48x84 pixel resolution of the original. The handset runs on Nokia Series 30+ OS and comes with 16MB storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). On back there is a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash; the feature phone also offers FM radio. Nokia 3310 (2017) packs a removable 1200mAh battery that offers 22 hour talk-time and month-long standby time. With the Nokia 3310, HMD Global also brought back the old Snake game which has been optimised for the new colour screen.
