Uttar Pradesh: 6 Killed,18 Injured,After Bus-Car Collision on Agra-Lucknow Expressway
The bus, carrying migrant labourers, was going to Delhi from Bihar's Darbhanga when the accident occurred around 5 am today, news agency ANI reported.

New Delhi: On Sunday morning 6 people were killed and at least 18 injured after a private bus met with an accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. The accident took place when the bus hit the car and overturned, said the police.
The accident took place at around 5:15 am,122 kilometers from the state capital of Lucknow. According to the police, the bus had started from Darbhanga in Bihar and was going to Delhi.
The Superintendent of police, Amrendra PD Singh, Kannauj said that “A private bus with around 40 passengers toppled down the highway after colliding with a stranded SUV. Five passengers were killed on the spot while another died minutes after reaching the hospital".

“Around 20 other passengers have also sustained injuries. They have been admitted to hospital,” Singh added.“It appears that the bus driver failed to spot the SUV in time that led to the collision and then failed to control the bus which toppled down,” Singh said
Within the few minutes of the incident, a police team reached the spot and called an ambulance that carried the injured to the hospital.
Chief Minister Yogi Aaditya Nath has expressed his condolences over the death of the passengers.
