The apex court has also said that the "truth should come out so far as actor's death is concerned," news agency PTI reported.
As per the reports, lawyer representing Sushant Singh Rajput's father has claimed in the Top Court that "Maharashtra Police is destroying evidence in the case."
Whereas Miss Chakraborty's lawyer had said that the Bihar government cannot transfer the case related to the death of the actor to the CBI as it does not have jurisdiction in the matter.
"There cannot be a transfer of the case as there is no legal basis for Bihar to get involved. At most, Bihar Police can register a Zero FIR and transfer it to the Mumbai Police. The transfer of a case on which they had no jurisdiction to the CBI has no legal sanctity," advocate Satish Maneshinde, lawyer of Rhea, told media persons.
He had said that the petition filed by Chakraborty in the Supreme Court claiming that the Bihar Police had no jurisdiction to investigate the case will continue.
Also a bench of The Bombay High Court heard a PIL seeking transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput's death case to CBI today.
Rhea and five others were booked under IPC Section 306 (Abetment of suicide), Sec 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), Sec 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), Sec 380 (Theft in dwelling house), Sec 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust), and Sec 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).

The postmortem reports say that he was suffering from depression for the last 6 months. The media, social media, netizens, and his family claims that the reason behind is depression can be professional rivalries.
