CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj has said that the class 12 students will get a chance to sit for optional exams to improve scores.

New Delhi: The Top Court today approved the assessment scheme which was submitted by CBSE in the court about remaining board exams. The results will be prepared for the pending subjects on the basis of exams that have already been conducted and on the internal assessment performance.
The results for the board exams will be announced in mid-July.
The Supreme Court has also said that the CBSE can also go ahead with its assessment scheme which will be considered marks achieved by the students in the last 3 papers for the class 12th.
Whereas the CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj has said that the class 12 students will gate a chance to sit for the optional exams to improve scores.
Mr. Bhardwaj also said that if class 12 students appear for the optional exams.the marks obtained will be treated as a final score.
And for the students of the ICSE boards, the average formula will be slightly different for the CBSE but the ICSE told the Court that they may gove the option to write an exam at a later stage to class 10 students as well.
On Thursday the academician and the parent bodies welcomed the CBSE's decision to cancel pending board exams in view of the spike the coronavirus cases but said that it may affect the performance of students, many of whom do not take pre-boards seriously.
Earlier on Thursday,CBSE has told to Supreme Court that the exams scheduled from July 1 to July 15 stand canceled and the board will conduct exams when the condition is conducive.
