Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a replica of the Ram Temple on Puri beach ahead of the 'bhumi puja' in Ayodhya.

New Delhi: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a replica of the Ram Temple on Puri beach ahead of the 'bhumi puja' in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Ram Temple at Ayodhya on Wednesday.
Pattnaik has created a 5ft high replica of Ram Mandir with Lord Ram on sand sculpture at the Puri beach. He used about 4 tonnes of sand which took him five hours to create this sculpture.
"We are very happy that after a long time, the Ram temple will be constructed. It is a historic day for us," said the sand artist. So far, Pattnaik has participated in more than 60 international sand art competitions around the world and won many prizes for the country.
Ayodhya is all set of "Diwali-like celebration" starting today sunset, with Ram Ki Paidi being lit up with around 1.5 lakh earthen lamps. Also, temples along the bank of river Sarayu will also be lit up with the light. Other than this in Ayodhya 50 other places and its major temples will also be lit up.
PM Modi is likely to spend around three hours tomorrow in Ayodhya, where he will perform groundbreaking rituals for the Ram Temple. For the mega event organized in the middle of the country's fight against coronavirus PM Modi and four other persons will be on the stage.
Today morning Prime Minister will leave Delhi by the special flight, and after reaching Lucknow.fly by the chopper to Ayodhya around 125 km away. The chopper will land at the helipad set up in the college in Uttar Pradesh holy town on the bank of the river Saryu.
PM Modi's first visit will be ti the Hanumangarhi temple, where he is expected to pray for 10 minutes
According to ti the Ram Temple trust officials, PM Modi will proceed to Ram Janmabhoomi which thousand of devotes believes the place where Lord Ram was born.
PM Modi will lay a 40 kg silver brick to symbolize the start of construction of the Ram Temple, which is the core of the BJP's poll promise and ideology. Barricades are in place and only those who have received security coded invites around 175 guests will be allowed in the "Bhoomi Pujan" ceremony. Among the 175 invitees to tomorrow's function are 135 priests and spiritual leaders. The ceremony will be telecast live by the national broadcaster Doordarshan.
