"Stand Vindicated", Mumbai Police Behaviour Illegal": Bihar On Supreme Court In Sushant Singh Rajput Case
New Delhi: Moments after the Supreme Court has allowed the CBI to investigate the case into the death of MS Dhoni actor Sushant Singh Rajput, filed by his family in Bihar, tweeted the state's Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi that their stand has "vindicated".
"We welcome the decision of the Supreme Court to allow CBI to continue with its probe of Sushant death case on the basis of FIR filed in Bihar. Our stand vindicated," Mr. Modi tweeted.

Demise actor's family had filed a police complaint in Patna against Rhea Chakraborty, alleging that she cheated him financially and her action drove Mr. Rajput to suicide.
Later Ms. Chakraborty has asked the Top Court to allow the case to be transferred to Mumbai. The Bihar Police, backed by the state government opposed Ms. Chakraborty's plea and recommended the CBI to take over the case
"I am very happy. The Supreme Court's order has strengthened the trust people have in the court and has assured the nation that justice will be delivered in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case," Bihar Director General of Police Gupteshwar Pandey said.
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav tweeted in Hindi, "First of all in the Sushant case, we demanded a CBI inquiry… I hope justice will be achieved within a stipulated time frame."

Top Court today said that the CBI will investigate actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. Also, the court has said the FIR registered in Bihar based on the complaint filed by Sushant Singh's father was correct and has told the Mumbai police to hand over all the evidence collected so far to the investigation agency.
