New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today has laid the brick in the most awaited Ram Temple construction, hailing Lord Ram Rahul Gandhi today posted a tweet after the ground-breaking ceremony, says that Lord Ram is the embodiment of love, justice, and compassion.
Rahul Gandhi tweet came a day after his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed hope that today's ceremony will become an occasion for the "national unity, fraternity, and cultural congregation".In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi wrote in Hindi, “Lord Ram is the manifestation of the best human qualities. They are the core of humanity in the depths of our minds.”

“Ram is love. It can never appear in disgust; Ram is compassion. It can never appear cruel; Ram is justice. It can never appear in injustice,” Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
Rahul Gandhi's hard-hitting tweet did not mention the BJP.
The ceremony which took place earlier today the Congress was not invited in it.
PM Modi participated in the groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of the construction of the temple.
Wearing gold silk kurta and white dhoti PM Modi arrived by the chopper to the riverside town marking his first visit in 29 years and prayed at the Hanuman temple before laying the most waited for 40 kg silver brick in Ram Janmabhoomi, at the disputed site for decades until the Top Court handed over ownership to Hindu.
The historic event showcases the triumph of India that found resonance with millions in the country and abroad.
Yesterday Mr. Gandhi's sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra marked the most awaited groundbreaking ceremony at Ayodhya with a tweet saluting Lord Ram.
She tweeted expressing hope that the ceremony at the Ram Janambhoomi will become an occasion for the "national unity, fraternity, and cultural congregation".
"Simplicity, courage, restraint, sacrifice, commitment, are the essence of the name Deenbandhu Rama. Ram is with everyone, Ram is with everyone," her tweet in Hindi read.
"With the message and grace of Lord Rama and Mother Sita, the Bhoomipujan ceremony of the temple of Ramlala became an occasion for national unity, fraternity, and cultural congregation," her tweet further said.
"Ramayan has left a deep and indelible mark on the culture of the world and the Indian subcontinent. The story Lord Ram, Mother Sita, and Ramayan has been illuminated in our cultural and religious memories for thousands of years," she said in a statement.
The event was attended by 175 people, including several high-profile dignitaries and saints from across the country.
