Noida: 2 Dead As Underconstruction Building Collapses

"Four people have been rescued and three of them have minor injuries. They all have been taken to a hospital for treatment," senior police official said.

New Delhi: A multi-storey underconstructed building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh's Noida, which claimed the life of two people, news agency ANI has reported.

According to the news agency PTI's report, the building was situated in sector 11 and belongs to a private firm. The cops said, the collapse took place around 7.30 pm.

The rescue operation was carried out by police and National Disaster Response Force teams.

"Four people have been rescued and three of them have minor injuries. They all have been taken to a hospital for treatment," senior police official Shriparna Ganguly was quoted as saying by PTI.

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh expressed grief towards the people who lost their life.
