New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency has raided six non-profit and trust and nine places in a terror funding case, including the property of the former Delhi Minority Commission chief Zafarul-Islam Khan.
The six NGOs raided by the NIA is Falah-e-Aam Trust, Charity Alliance, Human Welfare Foundation, JK Yateem Foundation, Salvation Movement, and J&K Voice of Victims.
Whereas the two NGOs Charity Alliance and Human Welfare Foundation are Delhi based, while the rest are based in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar.
And Mr. Khan is the founding editor of the newspaper Milli Gazette and chairman of the Charity Alliance.
The searches of today are continued from yesterday's raid by the NIA at 10 locations in Srinagar and one in Bengaluru in connection with the case in which some non-profit is suspected of raising fund in the country and abroad for carrying out separatist activity in Jammu and Kashmir
