New Delhi: A quarrel took place in Maharashtra's Kolhapur city which portrays the degree of coronavirus scare. The incident took place when a man riding a motorbike was thrashed as he sneezed in public.
This incident, which happened in Gujari area, got recorded in a CCTV and went viral on social media. Police said that no FIR had been reported, when was asked regarding the same.
The video showed that a bike-rider stopped to ask another rider on the road, why he did sneeze without covering his mouth with a handkerchief as it causes the spread.
This scenario led to a heated exchange, and the man who had allegedly sneezed was beaten up. This incident led to a traffic jam as many vehicles stopped, though it was not reported to the police.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the main cause of the spread of coronavirus is through spitting, sneezing or coughing or physical contact with an infected person. Maharashtra has reported the highest number of positively diagnosed cases in India with the troll of 52 cases with 1 death so far.
The total number of positive cases of COVID-19 in India are reported to be 195 with 4 deaths so far. Union, as well as state Governments, are taking all possible precautions and steps to stop novel coronavirus spread.
