Kangana Ranaut Slams Uddhav Thackeray "Like My Home, Your Ego Will Be Destroyed Too"
New Delhi: Today actor Kangana Ranaut hit out at Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray over the demolition of structures at her offices in Mumbai in a video in which she addressed him as"tu"(you).
Uddhav Thackeray, tujhe kya lagta hai? (what do you think?) That you colluded along with the film mafia, demolished my home and took revenge on me? My home was demolished today, your arrogance will crumble tomorrow," Kangana Ranaut said.
"This is the wheel of time, remember, it never stays the same," warned the actor, hours after Mumbai's civic body BMC demolished what it called illegal alternations at her office in Pali Hills.
Whereas the Bombay High Court has ordered a stop to the demolition and has served the notice to the BMC, which is controlled by the Chief Minister's Shiv Sena.
As the visuals showed a bulldozer at work at an office building even as Kangana Ranaut was on the flight back to Mumbai; she arrived today months after from her hometown Manali. Kangana in her video pledged to make a film on the Kashmiri Pandits, saying she finally understood what they must have suffered.
"You have done me a favour. I knew what Kashmiri Pandits had gone through but I felt it too today. I vow to this country that I will make a film not only on Ayodhya but also on Kashmir," she said.
Kangana Ranaut ended with this parting shot: "I knew this would happen to me. This has some meaning. Uddhav Thackeray, this cruelty, this terror, good that this happened to me. Because it means something. Jai hind, Jai Maharashtra.
The fight of the outspoken actor with the Maharashtra ruling Shiv Sena started over her criticism of the Mumbai Cops and the state government's handling of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and her comment that she didn't feel safe in the city anymore.
The fight escalated when Kangana Ranaut said "Mumbai was feeling like Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK)".
Also, the actor has been provided Y-Plus security by the central government, was escorted by the police as she offered prayers to a temple in Kothi, HP on her way to Chandigarh for her flights to Mumbai.
Her arrival in Mumbai has been preceded and a dramatic dust-up with the Maharashtra ruling coalition over her criticism of the Mumbai police.
As she commented that she feared living in Mumbai, Sena leaders suggested the actor should stay out of the city. Whereas a Shiv Sena MLA threatened that she would be sla[ed at Mumbai airport, top leader Sanjay Raut, was on camera using a slur against her.
On Tuesday, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh ordered an investigation into the allegations of an actor, Adhyayan Suman, that she "took drugs".
However, the BMC says Kangana Ranaut had been served notice on the "illegal structures" in 2018, long before her row with the Sena.
