Delhi and neighbouring area felt strong tremors for several seconds, prompting people to run out of their home. However no casualities or damage to property was reported.
Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi tweeted, "Mild earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi some time ago. Hope you are all safe, take care of yourself."
