Ayodhya: Pujari,15 Policemen Involved In Ram Mandir Event Test Coronavirus Positive

New Delhi: At the Ram temple event next week an Ayodhya priest who will be the part of the Bhoomi pujan ceremony has tested positive for coronavirus.

Also in addition around 15 policemen deployed at the site for security have also tested positive for the virus.

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi scheduled to attend the ceremony on August 5, which is a Diwali like preparation in Ayodhya.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust has issued an appeal to all the saints across the country to perform puja in their respective temples and Maths from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm on August 5.

Around 200 people are supposed to present for the ceremony at the complex. The number will include priests, security, guests, and local said the Trust.

For the ceremony, huge preparations have been made including a helipad for PM three km from the Ram Janambhoomi site. The road to the temple has been widened. Also along the road, the graffiti paintings depicting the life of Lord Ram have been put up.

Across Ayodhya, gaint CCTV screens have erected so that the devotees can watch the program,said the Temple trust.
