Aadhaar card is one of the most important identity cards of the citizens of India. The government has been trying its best to make its use increase in the country. Recently, The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has introduced a new policy according to which the students of class X and XII must have their Aadhaar Card in order to enrol for 2017 examination.
This will ensure that candidate’s details are complete and also it is a major step by education department towards the move to go cashless. The payment of fees shall be taken online from January, 2017. Also CBSE has given orders to the schools affiliated to CBSE to provide salaries to the staff by cashless or online mode.
The students who do not have their Aadhaar Card yet will be helped by CBSE’s initiative to establish several help centres. The Aadhaar Card will be handed over after three to five weeks once the process of registration is complete at the helping centres.
One should have his/her Aadhaar Card even in getting subsidy on LPG cylinder. The consumer has to link his/her Aadhaar Card number to bank account and then submit the Xerox copy of the same to respective gas agency.
Hence Aadhaar Card is not only one’s identity as a citizen of India but it provides with banking facility and facilities provided by government. Its use might prove as a major step towards the cashless move initiated by the government.
