A New Statement By Jethmalani In The DDA Case Again Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi CM Mr Arvind Kejriwal wants the taxpayer to foot his legal bills of Rs. 3.8 crore for defamation cases filed against him by Central Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Mr Kejriwal engaged a battery of lawyers to represent him, including Ram Jethmalani, one of the most expensive lawyers in the country.

In an interview with NDTV, Jethmalani has given a statement that, “he takes fees only from the rich people instead he works free for the poor people” he again blames Arun Jately for everything is being done as he is asked for cross examination in the case, as Arun Jately is scared due to the cross examination according to Jethmalani.

Jethmalani also said, if Mr. Kejriwal or Delhi Govt. do not give him his fees, he will do this case in free ad treat Mr. Kejriwal as a poor Client.

For information, Jethmalani is representing Arvind Kejriwal opposite Arun Jately. Earlier Jethmalani has said that he will not take his fees for the case, but recently in the month of December he has sent a letter in which he has asked for Rs. 3.86 crores as his fees. Due to which AAP leaders have said that “earlier he said he won’t take fees and now he has sent a bill of Rs. 3.86 crores.”

Due to Jethmalani’s bill AAP has come under the eyes because bill was sent in December and the party is showing to media in April. In this matter one more thing is been disclosed that Manish Sisodia has planned everything to pay up the fees of Jethmalani. Even in one of the letter Manish Sisodia has written that the case should not be granted by LG, in the letter it is also written that all bills of jethmalani should be cleared and should also take care of all the other bills should be clear once they come.

Last week, the Lieutenant Governor asked the Aam Aadmi Party to pay Rs. 97 crore to the Delhi government for ads that were allegedly in violation of Supreme Court guidelines and promoted Mr Kejriwal and his party.
