FA Cup : Arsenal Thrashed Southampton, As Wolves Shocked Liverpool

Arsene Wenger team Arsenal beat Southampton by 5-0 in the fourth round of the FA Cup at St Mary's stadium on Saturday.

Gunners forward Theo Walcott scored a hat trick against his former club, while striker Danny Welback returning after a long time netted twice for Arsenal.

Welback played his last match against Manchester City in May. The English striker was sidelined from squad due to knee injury.

In 65' min Welback was substituted by Gunners winger Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger said " We are very dynamic , explosive and overall we had a good consistent performance over 90 minutes and everybody played."

" Welback has been out for such a long time, I didn't expect him to score straight away and it shows the desire is there."

" People say I make changes but I bring in Walcott , Welback and Perez, all top quality players. After that I try to find the best balance for the team".

Southampton manager Claude Paul Said " It was a good Lesson, they are a great team we started the game without good experience and were nervous. It was better in the final 10 minutes of the first half and in the second half it was interesting it was a good reaction in the collection".

While, Wolves stunned Liverpool by 2-1 at Anfield stadium, Liverpool lost third home match in eight days.

In starting 1' min of the match Wolves defender Richard Stearman scored a goal. After 40' min forward Andreas Weimann doubled the lead for Wolves. In 86' min Reds Striker Divock Origi scored a consolation goal.
