New Delhi: Bollywood's late actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on 14 June 2020. The actor committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house in Mumbai.
The police investigation is still going regarding his demise. The police officials have also asked the Yash Raj Films to submit a copy of the contract they made with Sushant Singh Rajput for their films. According to the contract, Sushant Singh Rajput had a 3-movie deal with YRF and was paid Rs 30 lakh for the first one which is Shuddh Desi Romance which also featured Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor.
His second film project with Yash Raj Films was Byomkesh Bakshay for which he was paid one crore. In fact, YRF themselves decided that whether the movie turned out to be hit or flop. It is not yet officially announced that he was paid the above-mentioned price. As per the contract, he was paid 60 lakh.
His third film contract with YRF is Paani, it was arranged later because of some differences between its director Shekhar Kapoor and Aditya Chopra.
Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen on screen in his film Chhichhore which was a 2019 film. He was in the lead role alongside Shraddha Kapoor. His upcoming film project is Dil Bechara which will also the debut film of Sanjana Sanghi. Dil Bechara is unfortunately Sushant Singh Rajput's last film he acted in. The movie will be released on the OTT platform on 24 July 2020.
A Noted Actor Sushant Singh Rajput made his debut through the film Shuddh Desi Romance which was released in 2013, he was featured in the movie alongside Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor. He also did some commendable and praiseworthy movies like PK, Kedarnath, and Kai Po Che. His last movie Chhichhore was a blockbuster at the box office.
Sushant's unfortunate and shocking death has raised many questions on Bollywood's hypocrisy and it's nepotism.
