Rhea Chakraborty Tells Court That She Was Living With Sushant Singh Rajput, Had Left On June 8

New Delhi: Rhea Chakraborty, who has been named in an FIR registered by Sushant Singh Rajput's father, has told the Supreme Court that she lived with the factor for a year and shifted on June 8. The actor had committed suicide on June 14. The FIR has been filed against Ms Chakraborty in Patna, of fraud and abetment to suicide.

Ms Chakraborty had put a petition seeking a transfer of the case against her from Patna to Mumbai. The actress said that she was in a live-in relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput for a year and had moved out on June 8. The actress also said that Sushant had been suffering from depression.

Sushant's death had made many people question Bollywood's nepotism and created a huge controversy. Maharashtra police has questioned more than 40 people, including Rhea Chakraborty, director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, filmmaker Aditya Chopra, director Mukesh Chhabra, filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor and film critic Rajeev Masand.

However, the deceased actor's family had filed a case in Patna. People had claimed that the case was not with filed with Maharashtra police as they are accussed to be acquainted with celebrities. A case was also filed against Rhea Chakraborty following a complaint by Sushant Rajput's father.

Ms Chakraborty has argued that the case was concocted by actor's father to harass her. In the petition, she also said she fears he would influence the investigation by the Bihar police and the trial as the local authorities are hand-in-glove with him.

The actress had said KK Rajput, Sushant Rajput's father who was a member of the Bihar police, might be influential and yhat she was worriedof not getting fair and just trial.

Sushant Singh Rajput's death by the suicide is currently being investigated by the Mumbai Police. As per the latest reports, Sushant's father has now filed an FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty at his hometown, Patna.

In an FIR, Sushant's father had said that his son lost his movie contracts and developed depression after he met Ms Chakraborty.

"When Rhea knew my son had mental health issues she did not stand by him, she took away all the papers and left my son alone which pushed his to suicide," Ms Chakraborty, he also alleged, had threatened to destroy his career when he wanted to start organic farming in Coorg.

"I tried many times to reach out to my son and talk to him but Rhea and her associates and family members did not allow me to talk to my son," his complaint said.
