Kangan Ranaut Comes In Defends Of Sister Rangoli, Says Twitter Should Be Abolished
NEW DELHI: After Kangana Ranaut's sister, Rangoli Chandel's official twitter handle was suspended after a controversial tweet in which she talked about shooting those who attacked the doctors and health professionals, her account was reported by many people from the Bollywood industry as Rangoli allegedly targetted a particular section of the society and even coined the term 'Nazi' in her tweet.
Coming to her sister's defense, Kangana Ranaut released a video on her Kangana Ranaut Team's official page of Instagram on Saturday in which she hit out the industry people who accused Rangoli for the same including jewelry designer Farah Khan Ali. In the course of the video, she also appealed to the government to 'demolish' Twitter in our country.
While sharing the post, it was captioned as, "address the controversy around #RangoliChandel's tweet, and why freedom of speech is important in a democracy."
In the starting of the video, Kangana clarified and said that Sussanne's sister, Farah Ali Khan and popular producer Reema Kagti has falsely accused Rangoli of mentioning 'Muslim Genocide' in her tweet and that she only said that her sister asked only for those who were attacking doctors and police officials to be shot dead. Later, Kangana also mentioned that neither she nor her sister believe that every Muslim is attacking doctors and police officials and if they did so, they both will themselves come in front to apologise.
In the middle of the video, she also appealed to the centre government that micro-blogging sites like Twitter which operates in India and earns profit from it allows to disrespect and dishonour even the Prime Minister of the country and organisations like RSS are called out to be terrorist through this medium and doesn't allow the actual 'terrorist' to be called the same should be banned and disallowed in our country.
In the final part of the video, Kangana comes in defence of wrestler Babita Phogat who's getting life threats on Twitter after her controversial statement on Tablighi Jamaat in which she accused them for further spreading the novel Coronavirus. She also requested to provide her police protection to ensure her safety.

As for Rangoli, she has already said in a statement that she has no plans to revive her account with Twitter. “I am not reviving my account, I was my sister’s spokes person now watch out for her direct interviews, she is a huge star she has many ways of reaching out, a biased platform can be easily avoided,” Rangoli added.
