"Do Not Give Up On Dreams: Anupam Kher's Message For Newcomers
"A message for all the young dreamers who come to the city of Mumbai to make it big," wrote Anupam Kher on his Instagram, post-Sushant Singh Rajput's death.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who passed away on Sunday by committing suicide is now being terribly missed by everyone. According to the medical and post mortem reports, it has been reported that the actor was suffering from depression for the past six months. His co-star Anupam Kher from the movie M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story shared an IGTV video on Wednesday with the title "A message- For all the Young Dreamers ".
Anupam Kher addressed all the young people who come to Mumbai in order to become an actor from small towns. He also urged them not to lose hope. The veteran actor also said that all the speculation and investigation on Sushant's death will keep ongoing, it has been this way since the very beginning with every Bollywood celebrity.
Anupam Kher added that the loneliness during lockdown can affect them, but they should speak to their friends and their families.
Mr. Kher took a short trip down the memory lane and shared by recalling on how he struggled with all the criticism, he faced comments like "ganja hai, khekre jaisa patla hai, Hindi medium school ka hai," but he didn't give up. He said, "Doston, haarna nahi hai, aapne sapno ko beech mai chodd na nahi hai, ghabrana nahi hai."
He shared the advice which his grandfather gave him in the starting of his career, "bheega hua aadmi baarish nahi darta" which helped him to keep going and working hard no matter what. Speaking of the Bollywood film industry he said, "yahin ke log aapko aapka haath pakadkar aapko safalta ke sikhar taak leke jayega."
The 65-year-old actor asked the newcomers to keep pursuing their dreams and to never give up on them, as it would be the biggest tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput. "Isse bada tribute hum usse kya de sakte hai ki outsider baan kar hum haare nahi," said Anupam Kher in the video. He ended the video with the poem Koushish Karne Walon Ki Haar Nahi Hoti attributed to Hindi poet Sohan Lal Dwivedi. He also added the hashtags "don't give up" "work hard" and "all dreams come true" to his post.
Anupam Kher, on Sunday, shared another IGTV video where he broke down while speaking about Sushant. "Very difficult to describe Sushant Singh Rajput's death in words! And yet this probably is one of my longest IGTV videos. It will take me a long time to understand the magnitude of sadness it must have caused everybody in these times."
