This is the most critical time when it comes to UP Elections 2017 and the eye catching bulletin is now that of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav who has been declared the rightful owner of his Samajwadi Party's symbol (the cycle).
The 43-year-old has been in disagreement with his father, Mulayam Singh, for control of the party. In Fact it was claimed that the two will stand as oppositions in the coming elections. This evening, the decision came in Akhilesh Yadav's favour and it was also found that his faction of the Samajwadi Party is the real thing. Election Commission recognized that the majority of legislators back him over his father.
Splitting their party will definitely call for risk of splitting votes. Earlier today, Mr Mulayam Singh told those in the party who have their favours with him that "I try to talk to Akhilesh but he doesn't listen."
Akhilesh Yadav became the country's youngest Chief Minister in 2012, when he was just 37 years old, and promised to its youth jobs, growth, computers and education. On January 1, he confiscated the party by replacing Mulayam Singh, 77, as Samajwadi President. Under the guidance of uncle, Ram Gopal Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav announced his own list of candidates sidelining his father to the role of a mentor.
