Roshni Nadar Malhotra was the country's richest woman in 2019, with a net worth of Rs 31,400 crore, according to IIFL Wealth Hurun India.

New Delhi: On Friday India's richest woman Roshni Nadar Malhotra was appointed as the chairperson if HCL Technologies board of directors, as per the statement released by the IT giants.
Malhotra,38, assumed charges as the HCL chairperson after her father, Shiv Nadar stepped down from the position.
Mr. Nadar will continue as the HCL Managing Director and the Chief Strategy Officer of the company.
Roshni Nadar Malhotra, the only child of Shiv Nadar, had been the executive director and the CEO of HCL Corporation. Before she was appointed as the HCL Tech Chairperson she was the vice-chairperson of board of HCL Tech and trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation.
Malhotra over the years has been deeply involved in brand building activities across HCL Groups.
Roshni Nadar Malhotra grew up in Delhi and studied in Vasant Valley School, following which she graduated from Northwestern University with a specialization in communication. Later she graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management in the United States.
She has won many accolades and awards over the year. Also, she has been featured in the Forbes list of “The World’s Most Powerful Women” from 2017 to 2019.
