Brian Lara Stuns Aussies In Barbados

On this day in 1999, a Brian Lara masterclasses took his team West Indies to an improbable one-wicket victory against Australia in a exhilarating Test Match at Bridgetown, Barbados.

Lara remained unbeaten on 153 and started important partnership with Jimmy Adams and Curtly Ambrose to the hosts a 2-1 series lead in the four-match Test series. After seamer Courtney Walsh's second innings five-fer bowled Aussies out for our 146 in their second innings, giving Caribbean side a fourth innings target of 308, middle-order batsman Sherwin Campbell and Adrian Griffith got the chase off to a solid start.
