A Boy From Pak-Occupied Kashmir Detained Near Line of Control

A Boy who is 12 year old from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was detained after he crossed the Indian side along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, said by an army official today.

The Army spokesperson said, “A patrol of the Indian Army along the Line of Control (LoC) apprehended a 12-year-old intruder from Pakistan- occupied Kashmir (PoK) who had crossed over to this side of LoC late last evening in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.”

The boy, who crossed is the son of retired Baloch Regiment Soldier of Dunger Pel Village in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, On the Indian side of LoC a moving suspicious was found, he said.

There is an indication that they arrested the boy and was sent by Pakistan Army to do a recee and conduct probe of infiltration routes as per the Army Sources.

By the Army’s Patrol party being challenged, the boy surrendered immediately, as per the spokesman said.

For further investigation the boy will be handed over to the police by the Army.
