Most awaited season in India has now arrived bringing with itself delays in trains. The dense cover of fog delayed 84 trains while 37 others were rescheduled due to poor visibility.
At 5.30 am, the visibility at Safdarjung and Palam was recorded at 300 metres and 200 metres respectively. According to an airport spokesperson flight operations at Delhi airport remained normal.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.8 degrees Celsius which is normal for this time of the year according to Met Department official. On the other hand, maximum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius.
Clear sky with moderate to dense fog is expected for tomorrow, according to a weatherman. He added that maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to oscillate around 23 and 9 degrees Celsius.
