Mr Akhilesh Yadav rejected the proposal of Bihar’s politician, Lalu Yadav on making peace with his father, Mulayam Singh. His philosophies on how to make friends and influence people could not entertain Mr Akhilesh.
Mr Lalu Yadav phoned Akhilesh Yadav today and requested him to allow Mulayam Singh's restoration as the president of the Samajwadi Party. The 43-year-old Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said that he will do it himself after elections with “full honour.”
Lalu Yadav said that if the Yadavs will stand in the elections as two different parties, then BJP will gain which is not going to be beneficial for either of the two.
Mr Akhilesh believed that if in case his father allowed to lead the party then crucial decisions of the party will be determined not by Mr Mulayam but by Shivpal Yadav and Amar Singh.
According to sources, if Samajwadi Party splits then Bihar’s weight will be on younger Yadav who is close to one of Lalu's daughters married to Mulayam Singh's grand-nephew.
