Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ will not be screened in Pak

Indo-Pak tension has its impact on almost everything including Bollywood.  Popular actor Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie, ‘ Dangal’ will not be screened in Pakistan according to sources while it will be released in some other neighbouring countries. Ban on Bollywood movies resulted in a big loss of about Rs 150 million for Pakistani cinema owners.

There are reports which state that Aamir’s biographical sports-drama might be released in Pakistan. According to Indian Express, Spokesperson of the distributors of the film confirmed that Dangal will not be releasing in Pakistan. Also, he stated that “any news reports to the contrary are false.”

'Dangal' is based on the life of ace Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and the journey of his daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat. Aamir is playing Phogat and the film also features Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra among others. It is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and is scheduled to release on December 23 in India.
