Farmers in various states like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka have been facing difficulties due to drought. Since 2017, drought has severly hit the farmers across the country.

Although certain states like that of Uttar Pardesh has been provided with loan  remission to small farmers and Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu are trying to get  drought relief fund.
