New Delhi: Seems like Bollywood actress, Sonakshi Sinha is very excited for her upcoming movie ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ as she changed her twitter profile name to “Baby Bedi” her on screen name in the movie.

The movie is about how a girl “Baby Bedi” who takes over her family “sex clinic” and deals with society on topic sex and related problems. The movie will show her struggles to run the sex clinic as sex and sex related disease are treated like a taboo in India.

Sonakshi also changed her profile picture on Sunday. In her new picture we can see her totally rocking her new avtar as Baby Bedi with her big Harry potter glasses and traditional attire.  Also, she is holding a magnifing glass near her eyes to give a dramatic effect to the character.

The trailer of the film was released on Friday. Trailer is a humorous take on sex and social taboo in Indian society. The trailer looks very promising and has already created a buzz among the viewers.

This movie also features Badshah, Varun Sharma, and Annu Kapoor. Also this movie is singer come wrapper Badha’s debut as an actor in the industry.   

The poster of the movie looks very creative and different. We can see Sonakshi in the forefront, besides her many men are standing covering their faces with different props like bucket, book, newspaper, brown paper etc.

Among these men Badsha can be seen hiding his face with a book on which it is written in hindi  “ Main jitna bolungi logo ko utni hi sharam aani ahi!- Baby Bedi”.


‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ is directed by Shilpi Dasgupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Divya Khosla Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The movie will hit the theatres on 26 July, 2019.
