Deepak Kabir, one of the organizers, “It is a completely public-driven event with no one organization in the forefront. It is from the public that funds have been collected in small amounts to make the day happen. We think it is absolutely necessary to hold such programmes where freedom fighters such as Bhagat Singh and their true ideology, thoughts, and writings are made public and shared in creative ways with the youth".
