Aamir Khan Is Rumoured To Play The Role Of Osho, In His Biopic

New Delhi: Aamir Khan is convinced to play the protagonist in self-proclaimed godman Osho's biopic,a rumoured project, as reported by Pinkvilla. It is reported that the preparation for the movie has already begun but Aamir is still busy with Thugs Of Hindostan commitments. A source told Pinkvilla, "Aamir Khan is very excited with the script that has come his way. He gave his nod and is all set to dive into the skin of the character soon. The prep has already begun and one shouldn't be surprised if we get to see a different Aamir Khan while promoting his much awaited Thugs of Hindostan."

Known to be "Mr. perfectionist", Aamir will not officially confirm the project till the team gets his look as Osho absolutely correct. The source added, "However, Khan won't be signing the dotted line until he is convinced about the look and the other details of his character and the film."

The rumoured movie will be co-produced by Karan Johar and Aamir Khan, if all works out fine, this will be the duo's first ever collaboration. The movie will be directed by Kapoor and Sons' director, Shakun Batra. "Both Aamir Khan and Karan Johar are quite gung-ho about this movie because despite knowing each other for so many years and working in the same industry, this is the first time that they are collaborating together," Pinkvilla reported the source as adding.

The source added, "Aamir and KJo are jointly producing this movie, which will be announced only after the former is done with Thugs of Hindostan. Aamir doesn't want to compromise on his policy of working on one film at a time."

This year, Aamir Khan completed 30 years in the showbiz. He wrapped up the Thugs Of Hindostan scheduled in Thailand and in Jodhpur. While filmmaker and producer Karan Johar, has movies like Dhadak, Student Of The Year 2, Simmba, Kesari, Kalank and Brahmastra in the line-up.
