On Tuesday, the Senior Official from the Lilavati Hospital said, that the doctors are treating legendary Thespian Dilip Kumar, who is going under a treatment for the problem related to Kidney, and they are happy with the progress in his health.
Ajay Kumar Pande, Vice President, Lilavati Hospital, told IANS that, "He is improving. Doctors are happy as his creatinine levels have come down further and with the progress in his health."
Currently the 94 year old actor is in the ICU of the hospital.
Pande said when asked about his discharage from the facility he said, "It is not yet decided. But it may be discussed tomorrow."
On August 2 due to dehydration and urinary tract infection, Dilip Kumar was admitted to the hospital. High potassium and creatinine levels had raised concerns that he may have to be put on dialysis, but doctors decided against it after he started responding well to treatment. Dilip Kumar is married to actress Saira Banu.
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and Padma Bhushan in 1991, was received by Dilip Kumar who was best known for his starring roles in films like Madhumati, Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Ram Aur Shyam and Naya Daur.
