A bus carrying Pilgrims from Gujarat overturned near Udaipur, today, in which 9 people includes 6 women are killed and 22 are injured said by Police.
Near Nehla Village the accident took place, it is about 10 km from Rajasthan’s lake city Udaipur, the bus driver lost the control of the vehicle while trying to avoid the hitting of two-wheeler, Rajendra Prasad, Superintendent of Police (SP), Udaipur, told PTI.
Last night, from Ahmedabad the journey started and the bus was carrying pilgrims. It was on a religious tour which includes the place Haridwar and Pushkar and it was 16 days tour.
Six women and three men were killed in the accident, said the SP, adding that those injured were rushed to a government hospital in Udaipur.
