Rahul Dravid side Delhi Daredevils [DD] has signed Australian pace bowler Ben Hilfenhaus as a alternate for the South African all-rounder JP Duminy, who has ruled out of the tenth season of the Indian Premier League [IPL], citing "personal" reasons.
The former Chennai Super King seamer [Hilfenhaus] has represented Australia in 27 Tests, 25 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 7 T20 Internationals. The 34-years-old seamer played for two IPL teams in past editions. Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman Vishnu Vinod has restored injured opener Lokesh Rahul in the RCB team. The Indian opener [Rahul] was ruled out of the tournament because of shoulder injury. Earlier, Tamil Nadu young batsman Washington Sundar was signed by RPS [Rising Pune Supergiant] as a alternate for Indian Test off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. The Chennai born cricketer [Sundar] represented India at the under-19 level and made his senior debut for Tamil Nadu last season.
